Natalie joined Maytree in 2011 as a Project Manager prior to her appointment as Director in 2013. Before coming to Maytree she gained extensive experience managing services and outreach projects in the fields of drug and alcohol misuse and homelessness.
Finance and resource manager
Ryan joined Maytree in March 2017. This is his first role in the charity sector after gaining over twenty years of valuable financial experience in the publishing industry and with professional services firms.
Edwin joined Maytree in 2015 as a volunteer befriender, going on to become a volunteer trainer and assistant co-ordinator before his appointment as Residential service manager in 2018. Edwin has been training as a transpersonal psychotherapist for the past five years, gaining experience in this time working for various charities offering short and long term psychotherapy.
George started in 2017 as our Fundraising manager. Working in the third sector for over twelve years, George has accrued valuable experience across a diverse range of social causes, income streams and fundraising disciplines.
Carol has worked in the voluntary sector coordinating volunteers and supporting vulnerable families and women for over 25 years. She joined Maytree in February 2014. Carol is first point of contact for all volunteer enquiries, she organises the volunteers training and assists with the smooth running of the house. She also runs the occasional marathon for us!
Claire Joined Maytree as a volunteer in 2016 before becoming a trainer and co-ordinator. She previously worked in education for six years and as a children’s yoga teacher.
Eli joined Maytree as a volunteer befriender in 2016 and has worked on the Maytree team as a Co-ordinator since January 2018. After four years living in South East Asia working as a Dive Master and English teacher, Eli spent over ten years in the music industry, before retraining as a psychotherapist.
John joined Maytree in March 2019 after working for sixteen years with vulnerable adults, mainly in the addictions field. John also has experience of working with family members and after care, residential services and in the criminal justice system.
Maytree works extensively in the community, connecting with local services, providing suicide awareness and prevention trainings for professionals, recruiting staff and volunteers, and more. For any queries, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
A recent addition, having joined Maytree in late September 2020. A qualified accountant with over 25 years’ experience of finance in small community-based charities that support the vulnerable and disadvantaged. Attracted to Maytree through personal experience of the benefit of Talking Therapies.
Trust & Foundation fundraiser
Sarah joined Maytree as Trust and Foundations fundraiser in January 2020. Before this, Sarah gained wide experience in a range of charities over a number of years. She has also been a teacher and run her own marketing business.
